Switching hats
Here is the costume hat of a young woman helping an African dance company. She easily wears many hats, including some that are invisible — the ones she wears as a student, daughter, sister, and/or friend.
Flexibility and adaptability are yours as easily as switching hats from one role to another. Be capable of bending without breaking or changing without losing your worth. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard
The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
