Stop and go
This was my first drive in California. Friends told me this was “normal” traffic. My body became tense. I wanted to go home and enjoy more rural, less traveled roads. Knowing this was the only route to my destination, I settled down, changed my attitude, took pictures, and enjoyed the chaos.
The way may include moments of stop. Find the intrinsic worth of such moments and then go with gusto. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard

The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
