Out of place
A freezing day and a little white domestic rabbit in my backyard? I remember those childhood games entitled, “Can you circle the object that is out of place?” Yes. I can. The rabbit. I later learned it had escaped from a neighbor’s house. He was saved and reunited with his family.
Be aware of and act upon those little out of place experiences that might save yours or another’s life. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard

The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
