Light IN the tunnel
When going through rough times, I’ve had people tell me, “Don’t worry. There’s light at the end of the tunnel.” I’ve come to find out there is also light IN the tunnel.
Even in the most troubling, dark passage, there is light. Open your eyes. Watch for the on switch or grab a flashlight. Let your light shine. You may not have to be in the dark — even when the end is not so near. There is light IN the tunnel as well as at the end. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard

The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
