Letting go
I walked out after a big storm. The blown tree leaves looked like they were trying to reattach to their previous host reflected in the car window. The leaves were about to have a wonderful new purpose: fall, replenish the earth, and grow anew.
You might be holding on to an old job, relationship, or home — even when the loss is final. Let go and you will not drop into oblivion, but find a distinct, vital, and marvelous future. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard

The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.

“Change is the essence of life. Be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.”

I read this message while I have to decide to let go or not. Sometimes, letting go means giving up somethings you possess. It may be some advantages; it may be somethings we want to hold on to it. Letting go also invloves taking risk to change, to leave the comfort zone and take on new tasks… It may seem riskly. Yet, these post messages teach me nothing to be afraid of. As it says “Change is the essence of life” , no give no take, no old no new, no change no grow. I think it may be time to change. I am whispering to myself “Come on, take the courage; letting go the old thoughts, the old things, the old me… “
