Get out of the rat race
I looked out of my friend’s sixth story loft window. Below was my van parked on a busy city thoroughfare. Chuckling, I wondered if my car felt happy to be out of the rat race. I certainly did!
Periodically, park yourself away from life’s physical and emotional traffic and do something that does NOT require perfect preservation concentration. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard

The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
