Finely aged
My hair cut went well and I looked down to see more white hairs than dark brown. The color is changing with age. My four year old grand daughter shouted, “Grandma, you have highlights!” A complete stranger came up to me and asked, “Who does your highlights?” In both cases, I had to explain that God had made the changes. The aging process has been quite fascinating. I never know what to expect when I get up in the morning — except good.
Appreciate, enjoy, and embrace the aging process — including the wrinkles that you have earned through hard work and endurance. You are beautiful today. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard

The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
