Detour
Driving home from a late night concert, I was interrupted by a policewoman waving her hands and screaming at my car. There were emergency vehicles blocking the road for what reason, I will never know. The left turn detour was out of the way and time consuming, but I eventually made my way home.
Alternative routes may be necessary to circumvent problems that are out of your purview or control. Live abundantly through the roundabout courses and you will find a good end. This is my flashback of good for today. Suzy Shepard
The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
