Wisdom’s light

The security light busted a spider webbing my car door. Whew! I pulled my hand back and prevented my self from becoming prey.

She just graduated from nursing school. She is a hero. Four generations were there to witness her success.
I didn’t expect to look out my suburban window and see this creature running across the lawn. The turkey was running towards a busy highway! Run turkey, run — uh, in the other direction!
I drove out of the driveway and the hawk was preparing lunch in my front yard. I left him eating my favorite back yard squirrel.
I walked out and saw this eclipse. The illusion: someone or something had taken a big bite out of the moon!
Nothing is wrong with these people. They are my brother and sister tap dancing on stage. What is unusual is that their combined age is over 120 years.

The aspen tree is a study in resilience. Thousand year old aspen roots survive forest fires and send up new trunks. When traumatic life experiences burn on the surface, remember the aspen. Your deep roots will survive and grow into a life not wasted - a life worth living. You will have flashbacks of good.
